This is, as other users have also expressed, unacceptable. Photoshop at worst will crash upon choosing "NEW" from the recent work screen and at worst will allow me to open a file and begin work and then crash after a few seconds. I even went and removed all older versions of Adobe software I had installed making sure I removed their preferences. I have cleared the video cache inside photoshop (is there another cache I can try?), Ive restarted my machine, Ive cleared SMC and PRAM. Yesterday I tried resetting the preferences. My OS is up to date (updated yesterday) and currently on version 10.12.3, I have uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop 2017 today, currently version 2017.0.1. Ive been through this entire thread and tried everything that resembled an option for my system. It goes like this: open photoshop, splash screen, software loads and hangs briefly, I open a new document, a few seconds (or perhaps mouse clicks) later photoshop crashes. Photoshop 2017 randomly (though more often than not upon opening) crashes.
